Eye's partially closed Holly let her mind wander. Nessa's coming. the thought brought mixed emotions. Is that a good thing? She didn't particularly like the way she was handling this, of course it was good. Vanessa was her best friend, why was there doubt? Though this thought she was certain of the answer. Sure, it would be a good thing for her social life, but was that what she was here for? No, not at all. Nessa brought trouble, and trouble was one thing Holly couldn't deal with here. Holly was here for one reason, and Vanessa was, well, undecided about her future. Holly had to stay focused. Could she do that with a distraction like Nessa.
As if on cue the bubbly girl burst through the door at that moment, blonde hair falling at ease over her delicate shoulders, her eye's surveying the room for a moment before fixing themselves on the sole occupant. Mascara along with other make-up subtly enhanced her features, as though she was planning on going out, for a nice lunch date perhaps. Holly knew this wasn't the case, Vanessa didn't do lunch dates, she did fun nights out followed by a day of rest, which would somehow always lead to another night out.
"Holly" She gasped, falling onto her friend, giggles escaping her. "Ness" Excited tones didn't hide her shock, Vanessa wasn't suppose to get here until tomorrow. Vanessa took this as a good thing, rather than the worry Holly was feeling. Holly's final day of consideration had been taken from her. What would happen now?
Vanessa seemed to have considered this already. "Well get up" She said as she got off her friend "We're going out" Holly knew it had started, there was no way she could go out tonight, what about the school horse she was assigned, she had already planned to go and see it this afternoon. "Before you start, I know, I know, we can go for a ride if you like, Curious is here already, it'll be great!"
Holly wasn't sure she could share her enthusiasm, but what could she do about it? She may as well play along, it could be good.
Quickly slipping on some old blue jeans and a tee-shirt Holly was ready to go. Vanessa had said to wait outside her door while Ness got changed. This would usually take half hour at least, but lucky for Holly, Vanessa had previously decided which of her endless supply of clothes she would present herself in today. Then again, did this mean she would be quick? No, never.
Leaning against the hallway wall Holly took a deep breath, once again wondering if this was such a great thing ... come on Vanessa, hurry up Only a few minutes had passed, but already Holly was nervous, she looked around, a distraction could help. But no, the hall was empty. Closing her eyes she waited for the footsteps of her friend, waited for the door to open, waited for the day to end.

Words in a diffrent language filled the hallway along with another sound, a light little cling, cling, cling. Followed by the noise that suddenly accupied the hallway was a girl, words and clink coming from her. She noticed the other in the hallway and her words stopped. Her phone could be found tucked away in the purse that rested on her shoulder which could only mean she had been talking to herself. Her tan cheeks turned a pale pink as she looked at the other before her, blushing a little, embarresed that she'd been caught talking to herself. She assumed however that the girl probably did not understand portugese and therefore would not know what she had been consulting herself about.
The girls dark brown locks rested on her bare shoulders. She wore a little make black eyeliner and mascara, making her beautiful almost lavender eyes stand out. She wore a black halter top which left her tan arms and shoulders revealed, a little bit of her tan stomach was also left seen. Jeans rested snuggly on her hips which swayed back and forth as she walked. Gold bracelets were worn on her wrists causing the clink as she swung her arm. Cowboy boots covered her feet, jeans rolled up to meet the tops of the boot. She looked before the girl and smiled warmly. A Hello in her language escaped her lips and she blushed again shaking her head "Sorry.. I meant... Hello" she said, her brazilian accent thick making it mildly difficult to understand her words..

Maysa heaved a sigh as she approached her room. Obviusly there would be no peace and quiet. She was extremely sore, having hit the dirt a couple times through out the day, and, although she would never admit it, at least once, she had tripped over her own feet. It wasn't her fault the shoes that S.S. had provided her with were too big!!
She heaved a sigh, slipping quietly passed the girl with the attrocious accent and plopping on her bed, grabbing a teen magazine and trying to block out the sounds of the others in the room, trying hard to act like she didn't care, although she was a little tired of being lonely. She just needed someone to break through her shell.

The sound hit her before the voice, Holly looked up, a slight smile on her face as the Brazilian girl stopped and greeted her. Holly responded. "Hey" This girl was the first she had met since arriving, other than Vanessa of course, perhaps it would pay to be nice. Then again, had been talking to herself? Inward laughter greeted this thought, as if Holly was one to even consider judgment. Her antics were nothing near normal.
As a third person traveled past Holly's eyes followed her, she murmured a hello to this girl too, her generally nice nature not faltering despite Vanessa's unexpected appearance. Though this girl didn't look in the right frame of mind to stop and chat, she looked a bit of a loner, uninterested the daily happenings of others. Holly's curious side quickly took over. I wonder who that was ... she practically promised herself to find out. Holly kept to herself most of the time, but she liked to know. Call it a character flaw.

The girl still pretended that she didn't care, although that could not have been less true. One eye looked over the people who had invaded her room. She heaved a sigh, the green orb falling back on the magazine page disinterestedly. She supposed that these girls were to be her roomates. She didn't like the idea, but she supposed she would have to live with it.
She flipped through the pages of the magazine, taking no interest in the articles it held, but neither did she in the people clogging her room. Welcome to your first day of hell the girl told herself. A bunch of b.itchy, giggling girls. Lovely. Joy. What fun!! All the words loaded with sick sarcasm.

Sparing one more glance for the girl Holly turned back to the person in front of her. She was just about to speak, find out who she was, but Vanessa, as was her custom, came bounding over, jeans and sleeveless pink singlet now covering her body. Or at least some of her body. Vanessa looked first at the Brazilian girl, then to the other girl. "Hey, i'm Vanessa ... you must be sharing the dorm huh?" It wasn't strange for Ness to be nice to start with, but once words were said who knows what she would go off saying about these girls. Her critical mind let her eye's wander over the girls again, taking them in, assessing them. Could they be friends? Vanessa wasn't yet sure. Miss Brazil didn't look at all the type to come out partying with them, but the other? Well, she didn't even look the type to come out riding with them. Well, not yet anyway.

The tanned skinned, dark haired girl smiled a little, her pale pink lips spreading to show her white perfectly alined teeth. She looked at the passing girl and smiled brightly "Hello!" she said cheerily in her thick accent, the words barely understandable. Her hand raised with the words and she waved her perfectly manicured fingernails at the girl as she spoke. Well this was nice. There were many people right here, finally somebody to meet. Though she was a little embarresed that she didn't talk the same as the others and didn't quite understand the language too well.
She'd been here only three days and already longed to go home. She had simply wanted to get something to eat the other day, wandered into a resteraunt and didn't understand the quick words that the boy behind the counter spoke. He'd talked so quick, his cheeks pink. In all honesty he'd been nervous because of the attractive girl standing before him, but in his nervousness he hadn't noticed the girl and the lost expression on her face as she tried to understand the language foreign to her. And we'll just say she hadn't gotten what she wanted but the boy managed to get a phone number. Lyza Rose still wondered why he had needed her phone number. Poor girl. So lost in this new world.
She looked back to the other and extended her hand "I Lyza Rose" she nodded a little with a tiny smile.

Vanessa took Lyza's hand, only briefly, before flicking a glance at Holly, would she mind? No, Holly was always nice, she wouldn't care. The real question was did Vanessa want to invite her? Vanessa wasn't the nice one, she wasn't the one to help people for nothing in return. With a quick thought to one of her favourite movies, mean girls, Nessa decided that it could be fun. Lyza clearly wasn't an english speaking girl by nature but she was pretty, and one afternoon together couldn't hurt. This is assuming she says yes, which it's likely she won't. She might have better things to do, or maybe she doesn't have a horse. "Holly and I were just going to go for a ride, feel like coming?" Vanessa didn't want to sound patronizing by speaking slow or anything, but at the same time she hoped that Lyza spoke english fairly well. Ness settled for her normal tones, if she didn't understand she could always slow it down, spell it out, whatever.

The girl seemed to ponder on this question a moment, tucking some of her dark hair behind her ear. Bright smile crossed her lips and she nodded excitedly "Oooh Yes" she said, brightening quite a bit. She turned to head out, obviously excited about this and then spun back around "I need to..uhh...change my clothing" she mumbled with a little guilty smile, not wanting to make the girls wait. She looked from one to the other and smiled a little "I will be quick" she said and nodded quickly, going to her part of the dorm.
She went to the big cheap oak dresser that sat in the corner the top and middle drawer holding little peices of paper that read Lyza Rose. The other middle drawer and the bottom one held someone elses name. She opened the top drawer and grabbed a black tank top from within it. The middle drawer opened next and from it she pulled a pair of purposely wripped jeans. She dropped her purse on the bed and ran into the bathroom, closing and locking the door behind her.
Minutes later the girl joined Holly and Vanessa again, bright smile on her face. The black tank top fit her thin figure snuggly, showing off every curve. The wripped jeans sat just below her hips, the combination of the shirt and the jeans showing off a bit of her tan stomach. She pulled her thick hair back into a ponytail as she approached the girls again, smiling "We go now?"

Vanessa looked over at her friend, she had a smirk on her face and shook her head when she caught Nessa's eye. Vanessa knew this was nothing against Lyza, this was against her. Holly wasn't bothered, she'd just seen Vanessa doing this back home.
As Lyza came back Vanessa too smiled, nodding her head in agreement when the girl spoke. "Sure, lets go"
Holly didn't mind someone else coming along, she was happy to meet them, she just hoped than Vanessa would be nice, she didn't have time to support people here like she had back home, it sounded cruel, leaving her friends, but she knew what it took to get better and being with Vanessa just wasn't going to get her there. Riding, however, would. "You have a horse?" Holly asked. There was no point her coming if she didn't have something to ride. Holly didn't really wait for a response, she had just realized, today would be the first time she'd meet and ride her academy horse, the one she had been assigned. Rosie she had been told to look for a nice mare. Suddenly, Holly couldn't wait to get there.

Lyza nodded a little bit and smiled brightly "course" she said simply as she wandered down to the barn with the girls. She was unaware to any evil planning on Vanessa's part. Thinking that these girls actually maybe liked her. They were the firsts she had really met here and she thought she liked them already. They seemed nice, welcoming, maybe this place wasn't as diffrent as she thought it'd be.
When they reached the barn she went to Bebe's stall, grabbing the halter and lead rope off the hook before slipping into it. She smiled a little bit as she gently ran her fingers through her mare's forelock before slipping the halter over her nose. She haltered up the horse and patted her rewardingly on the neck before leading her from the stall. She put her in the cross ties and threw the lead rope over her neck to rest so it didn't drag on the ground. She went to the tack room, gathering up her tack before wandering back to the horse, beginning her tacking up process.

Holly didn't waste any time, as soon as they arrived at the barn she was off to find Rosie. Now it was Vanessa's time to smirk. Neither of the girls had changed any in the time they'd been apart. Aside from some new goals on Holly's part. Vanessa stopped and had a look at Lyza's horse before going off to find Curious. Holly soon located Rosie, the mare was stabled not far from Lyza's. Grabbing her halter and lead she slipped them on Rosie looping the lead over her neck. Giving her a carrot that had previously been stuffed into her pocket, Holly didn't bother taking her out, she brushed the mare in her stable. Holly took her time tacking up, getting to know Rosie a bit first.
Vanessa knew her horse, she knew her horse very well, so little time was wasted on greetings. Curious was happy to see his owner, giving her with a whinny as she approached. Curious, being the spoiled thing he is, was searching for a carrot or bread as soon as his owner got to him. He was rewarded with such. Vanessa didn't take long to tack up, soon she was leading her boy over to see if Holly was ready, which after a few minutes waiting she was. The two then went back to back to Lyza to see what she was up to.
(( bad post sorry, i'm kind of rushed, i'm off now, bye ))

Lyza was outside the barn, already on the back of her horse, trotting cirlces and figure eights. She wore a smile on her face, kicking her heels into her horses sides, asking it into a slow canter, cantering bigger figure eights then she'd been trotting. She leaned back a smudge and just tugged on her loose reins a little bringing the horse to a sudden stop. Some riders may be jerked forward by such stops but Lyza handled it quite well. The horse wore what looked to be a brand new western saddle with matching bridle, gems pressed int the headstall and reins, sparkling when hit by the right sunlight. The horses tail was held in a hunter style braid. Her coat seemed to glitter in the sunlight and her dark eyes were soft and kind. Lyza gently patted the horses neck, speaking to her in her language in a quiet voice before spotting the other girls. She smiled and waved at them excitedly "Ready?" she asked curiously, riding her mare over to them.

Her enthusiasm amused the girls. Running down their stirrups they got on, Vanessa like she had a million times back home, giving Curious a pat on his neck once she was on, and Holly like she was sure to do many times in the coming months. Holly adjusted her stirrups slightly before nodding to Lyza "Yeah, where do you want to go?" Neither Holly nor Vanessa minded where they rode, Vanessa wasn't particularly bothered if they didn't ride at all, she was eager to get out and explore this new town. Holly just wanted to see what Rosie could do for reference in the future.

Lyza looked around and then a shrug crept over her shoulders "Well I hear of trails.." she nodded wisely and then glanced around again "Somewhere" she mumbled with a little laugh at the end of it. She looked around her and shrugged again "I think we just ride.. maybe we find them?" she said with a bright smile, turning her mare on her hind quarters and then asking her forward into a trot. She wore a smile on her face as she picked a direction to ride in.
After they got going she slowed her speed so she rode beside one of the girls. She looked around as they rode, admiring the property. They rode along the gravel road for a while, walking passed the four barns, four arena, and the many pastures that spread across the land, finally coming to a trail entrance. It was a dirt path, leading into the woods and a bigger smile spread across Lyza's lips, this was so exciting. New surroundings. Lyza's horse walked unamusedly, head low, body relaxed, seemingly a pretty easy horse.
