[The New Boy] Wondering « Thread Started on Apr 24, 2007, 3:14pm »
With a blank expression on his face he walked into the lounge dragging his feet behind him and looking around, he had always been a bit of a outsider he never really stayed in one place, if it was not a probelm he had ot move either way people didnt get to know him that well before he had to move on again. He sat down thinking that hopefully this bein his own life he would be here a while it was a lot nicer than the other places he had been to, not bein able to afford his own horse them supplyinh him with one was very good of them. Sigh a light sigh just left his mouth not something he controlled just something that happend.

The girl's long, curly blonde hair had been contained in a pony tail holder, and the top frizzes were hidden by a brown cowboy hat. A brown and white border collie cross puppy frolicked at her feet. "Yeah baby," she murmured, leaning down to scoop up the puppy, cradling him close to her. A squeal and the kicking of a stall door could be heard outside the lounge. "LIAR!" the girl yelled. She didn't have to be out there to know that it was her own stallion. She shook her head as a snort was heard and another kick to the stall door. "Stupid thing," she said. Her head jerked a bit as the puppy yipped, sniffing, seeming to notice the boy for the first time. She smiled as another squeal was heard. "Hi," she said pleasantly, shaking her head at the stallion. She moved toward the fridge and grabbed a Dr. Pepper from it, plopping down on a couch. "I'm Macy," she said with another smile, still holding the puppy to her to keep him out of mischief. "This is Critter," she said, wiggling the puppy and getting a little, happy yip and a turn at a very odd contortion to try and lick her nose. "And the obnoxious one out there," she frowned as he kicked the stall door. "Is Liar. Believe it or not, my miniature stallion." The little horse was definately making enough noise for a draft horse.

Aaron looked up as he heard the girls voice ring thorugh his ears and probably many others as well, with a slight grmice on his face yet the distinct look of a smile he laughed and watched her as she plopped down beside him. He smilled and pulled his legs closer to the chair and sat up a bit more. He had his eyes fixated on her face she wa mesmerising. Hi, Im Aaron. Macy is a cute name He looked at her the thought of all that noise being a miniture horse made him laugh, a smile giggle emerged he quickly threw his hand to his mouth and loked at the girl his cheeks were slightly going red. A miniture? Are you being serious?

She smiled and frowned at the puppy as he tried to bite her. "Not you too," she told the puppy. She looked up and smiled. "Aaron. I've always liked that name. And thanks," she said with a nod. She heaved a s igh and pushed herself to her feet. "Yes, dead serious," she said, dropping the puppy on the couch. Looking a little offended, the puppy cocked his head and watched her walk off, then, with a yelp, dropped off the couch, doing a little roll, not behing at all coordinated, and dancing after her. "Critter, no," she told im firmly, pointing back into the lounge. THe puppy stared at her, then went back into the lounge, looking even more offended and with his tail between his legs. The girl swore as she was kicked. Quite loudly too. "Son of a....." she yelled, not finishing. She stumbled back out of the stall and leaned against the wall of the barn, holding her stomach, feeling her tummy squirm at the impact. She stood there for several minutes, doubled over, holding her abdoman. "Ok, that's in," she told him grimly. The stud aimed another kick at her legs, and she kicked him hard in the quarters. The stallion was small enough that he almost toppled over. Macy stood over him, staring him down, then grabbing his halter and snapping the lead shank on it. She shook her head as she dragged the rearing and screaming stallion out of the stall. "I'm gonna take him up to the roundpen, wanna come watch?" she asked Aaron, pain still mirrored lightly in he rblue eyes. She yanked on the chain as the stallion tried to kick her again, and, when he repeated the attempt, she got after him, turning on her heel and smacking him again and again and again on his quarters until he yielded them to her, looking at her straight on instead of at an angle. She shook her head. "You stupid son of a gun," she mumbled, glancing back at Aaron expectantly.

Aaron smiled at the girl and watched the puppy roll about, Thanks he said half laughin half tryin to keep a straight face, he smiled and watched as the horse kicked back at her. He wanted to rush in and save her but as soon as he took a step forward the horse managed to land anotehr well aimed kicka dn he walked slowly backwards. He smiled and watched her she handled the horse with great skill. Yea that could be cool he started to follow her, he made a stratigic move to pat the horse and land his hand on her back, yet it didnt quite happen and he ended up just strocking the horses ears.

The stallion squealed, ears laying flat, and his head flashed to the side to take a bite out of him. "Ah," Macy said, yanking again on the chain. It was a quick sound, one of those there and gone again sort of things. She shook her head. "You're a devil," she informed him as she leaned forward a bit to gather strength from her upper body instead of just from her arms, the stallion fighting mercilessly. The girl shook her head. "Lord I hope dad'll let me sell him," she said, shaking her head, shoving her hat lower on her head so that it wouldn't fall off, the band around her hair getting looser and looser.
She heaved a relieved sigh as they went up to the round pen. She closed the gate quietly behind her and looked at the horse with disdain. She took the lead rope off him, and the stallion instantly tried to come at her. She shook her head at him and flicked the lead rope warningly toward his shoulder. The stallion danced away, and Macy snapped the lead rope toward his quarters. With an angry snort the stallion took off around the pen, careening wildly all over the place, throwing bucks in every couple strides.
She shook her head, her body angled straight at him, driving him on, not having to flick the rope again to keep him going. "I'm joining up with him," she explained to Aaron, unsure of whether he'd heard it or not. "I show him that by keeping him going, I'm stronger than he is, and that I'm gonna be a good leader. It gives bratty horses like him some respect, and they use it a lot on horses that have been abused or abandoned, because in order to accept a leader, they have to trust them." She shrugged to show she wasn't trying to show off, or that she didn't think he knew anything ab out horses. It was a shrug that told him she was simply explaining it in case he didn't know. She flicked the "whip" again as the stallion threw in a buck, since he had been going steady for some time now. "There!" she announced, pointing. The little miniature's inside ear was flicked toward her, trained on her throughout the entire circle. "I've got his attention," she murmured, just loud enough for the boy to hear. She continued to drive him on.

ooc: thts K i shall try my hardest ))
The Bay watched and jumped away as the horse went to bite him, he was fine with big horses but not so much the little ones, he wasnt scared just wasnt to fond of them. He watched her out in the round pen his eyes were on her more than the little horse, however when he threw in a impressive buck he was tempted to run away from it. Really never really knew that He watched her she was so knowing about the horses it put him to shame, he thought he knew a lot but obviously not as much as her. Yea, it looks like he is paying more attention

"yep.." she said with a simple nod. She slowed shifted her weight and stepped in front of him. With a snort, the little stud wheeled and started going in the other direction. "There," she said, pointing, as his head went down until his entire topline was level. "Just one more, and I'll let him come to the center," she explained, stepping in front of him again, just because this was the boring part. It took a while between the horse starting to think about it and actually doing it.
